Get Excited For Global: L6 International Global Coed Preview

The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on The Cheerleading Worlds mat!

FloCheer is going to break down every division at The Cheerleading Worlds so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida.

L6 International Global Coed


Division History

The Level 6 International Global Coed division is made up of 10-24 members, all ranging from ages 13 and up. There must be a minimum of one male athlete on the floor, but there can be a maximum of 16 males on the floor at a time and the team must include a 30-40 second traditional cheer in their routine.

In 2019, the L6 International Global Coed was introduced at The Cheerleading Worlds and the Flyers All Stars Notorious took first place in the spirited division and brought the World Championship title back to Canada! 

The CREWCATS from Cheer Athletics took home first in 2021 with a score of 138.55, followed by GymTyme Platinum in second place with a score of 130.15, and finishing in third with a score of 126.65 was Vibranium from Arizona Element Elite.

GOLD:  Cheer Athletics - Plano - CREWCATS

Final Score:138.55

The CREWCATS from Plano, Texas, made it evident that they came to The Cheerleading Worlds to take home the gold. The CREWCATS left the crowd in awe with their powerful tumbling and the team carried this energy through their performance showing off excellent stunt technique.

Will the reigning World Champions go back-to-back in 2022 or will a new team be crowned the L6 International Global Coed World Champions?

SILVER: GymTyme All-Stars - Platinum 

Final Score: 130.15

GymTyme Platinum finished the season strong and took home the silver medals in 2021. Platinum showcased impressive coed stunting and polished standing tumbling to earn a final score of 130.15.

BRONZE: Arizona Element Elite - Vibranium 

Final Score: 126.65

After landing in eighth place after the Semi-Finals, Arizona Element Elite Vibranium made an impressive comeback in Finals finishing the weekend on the podium! Vibranium understood the assignment and brought their all to The Cheerleading Worlds mat. The improvements made during their Finals performance paid off and the team finished in third place and took home bronze medallions.

2021 - 2022 Season Recap

JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals

The Stingray Allstars - Electric

At JAMfest, The Stingray Allstars Electric caught the crowd's attention showcasing beautiful hand-in-hands to the top! This routine is face-paced and well-executed which scored Electric a 94.65. 

GymTyme All-Stars Platinum took home second at JAMfest, followed by Arizona Element Elite Vibranium in third. We can't wait to see what these teams bring to The Cheerleading Worlds this weekend!  

CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship

The Stingray Allstars - Elecric

At the CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship, Electric kept their winning streak alive with another impressive routine and scored a 94.8584. When these athletes take the floor you know they're going to put on a show! 

GymTyme All-Stars took home second with a 90.5625 followed by Arizona Element Elite Vibranium in third with an 87.0083.

NCA All-Star National Championship

The California All Stars - Smoed

Five teams competed in the Level 6 International Global Coed division at NCA All-Star National Championship and fans got a good look at what we will be seeing at The Cheerleading Worlds! New to the division but no stranger to championship success, The California All Stars Smoed scored a 98.4333 making them your 2022 NCA All-Star Champions! 

The Stingray Allstars Electric followed behind with a 96.35 and coming in third was GLOC from Top Gun All Stars who scored a 94.3833 with an entertaining magic-themed routine!


Semi-Finals for the Level 6 International Global Coed division will take place on April 23rd followed by Finals on Sunday, April 24th. Who will take home the Level 6 Int. Global Coed title in 2022? Be sure to watch these teams take the floor LIVE only on FloCheer!
