The 2022 College STUNT National Championship is off to a great start as teams brought the excitement to the mat as they faced off against the best in the country today in San Antonio, Texas!

Kentucky fell short to Maryville with a final score of 17-8 in the first match-up of the day. Maryville will move on to compete against the top seed and reigning College STUNT National Champions, California Baptist University, at 10:15 AM CT. Kentucky will go to the lower bracket and will find out who they will match up against tomorrow morning after Varsity Game 6. 

In the second Varsity Game of the tournament, Oklahoma Baptist University went up against Dallas Baptist University and the second seed ended the game 20-1. The Bison are always fierce competitors and will be going against the Panthers from Davenport University on Saturday at 11:30 AM CT in Varsity Game 6! This game will be one STUNT fans will want to watch! 

Varsity Game 3 ended with Davenport taking a strong lead and taking down Concordia with a final score of 15-7.

Dallas Baptist will start the action tomorrow as they battle it out against Concordia in the lower bracket for Varsity Game 4 starting at 9 AM CT.

In Game 1 of the CLUB tournament, the Cowboys from Oklahoma State defeated the Red Raiders from Texas Tech 14-10 sending them on to compete against Cal Poly tomorrow evening at 5 PM CT. In Game 2 for the CLUB teams, Cal Poly defeated Michigan State in an impressive fashion. After taking the match 20-4, the California team will advance on to play against the Cowboys from Oklahoma State.

Texas Tech will go head-to-head with Michigan State University in the lower bracket for a chance to make their way back to the top!
