Cali SMOED: Moving Forward With Confidence

The California All Stars SMOED is no stranger to the Worlds podium. The team started in 2011 and was crowned world champions four straight times from 2012-15.

Since their last win in 2015, the Senior Small Coed 5 team has been fighting their way back to the top. At the 2018 UCA International All Star Cheerleading Championship, SMOED showed up and showed out wowing the crowd with two solid routines to take the title on Day 2.

Earning the win at UCA was a major confidence booster for the team and they are ready to use that feeling as fuel heading into Worlds. We caught up with the team in Orlando to hear how they plan to prepare for The Cheerleading Worlds.
