The first Worlds bid event of the season is approaching -- November 6 to be exact. The Groove's Hooiser City Classic in Indiana will be the first competition of the season to award teams the opportunity to attend the most prestigious competition of them all: The Cheerleading and Dance Worlds in Orlando, Florida, on April 29-May 1, 2017.

Groove will be awarding three partial-paid and six at-large bids to dance teams that qualify. Don't worry all star cheerleaders -- we didn't forget about you. Potential world champions will be earning their first bid of the season in New Jersey at Spirit Nationals on December 2. Two full-paid and four at-large bids are up for grabs, and we know the teams at this event will be throwing their hat in the ring to claim their tickets to Orlando.

Each week following Worlds bid events, The Road to Worlds will be recapping the bid winners and following the divisions heading into the competition. Who's going to show up, and who's going to show out?
