At this point in the season and with so much on the line, it would be illogical to expect anything but the most epic performances during each round at The Cheerleading Worlds 2024.

That said, the stage now is set for the L6 Senior Large finals, which will take place at the AdventHealth Arena South (Red) on Monday (April 29) at 11:30 a.m. EST The venue is part of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The remaining teams are Cheer Athletics – Plano (Panthers), The Stingray Allstars (Orange), Cheer Extreme (Senior Elite) and World Cup (Shooting Stars).

The Cheer Athletics – Plano Panthers set the pace in the semifinals and will be looking to claim their fifth world championship.

The Panthers boast one of the longest and most successful histories in the sport, with all of their previous victories at The Cheerleading Worlds coming in the All Girl category. They have won the Small, Medium and Large titles. 

Cheer Athletics was founded in 1994 and now can be found in 14 locations across the United States.

Coming into the 2024 event, the Panthers also are looking for some redemption, after falling short in 2023. They finished second (143.25) behind Cheer Extreme Senior Elite (144.6), with both teams hitting zero in the finals.

Can the Panthers rise to the occasion in 2024, or will Cheer Extreme reign supreme again? Or will one of this year’s other finalists tumble in and steal the spotlight?
