The first Cheerleading Worlds took place in 2004! That was the only year the competition was made up of just two divisions: Senior All Girl and Senior Coed. Did you know Cheer Athletics won the first All Girl globe and Miami Elite was the first Coed World Champion team?

In 2007, all star dance teams had their first chance to earn a globe at the first Dance Worlds and the dance divisions have grown every year since. Each year, teams from across the world take the stage and put on their best performance of the year.

The newest division to the Dance Worlds was added in 2017: Contemporary/Lyrical. Dance Dynamics was unstoppable in this division and was the first program to bring home the first globe in both the senior and open divisions!
