The Senior Small Level 5 division is so fun to watch because there's nowhere to hide. Every athlete has to be on their A-game at all times with no room for mistakes.

The talented teams in this division showed out at The Cheerleading Worlds 2018 with multiple teams in the top 10 hitting a zero-deduction routine. In the end, only three can come out on top; here’s a look back at the powerhouse teams who earned a spot on the podium this season.

Cheer Extreme SSX has an incredible season taking home big wins at CHEERSPORT Nationals and NCA All-Star Nationals. It was pretty safe to say all season that the Sharks weren’t leaving Orlando without a globe.

They debuted gorgeous brand-new uniforms at Worlds and hit the floor with the confidence of a champion. Flawless timing, effortless attitude, and solid skills sent SSX straight to the top.

The HP Field House was deafening when they hit their elite stunt in Finals and the crowd all screamed: “Ahhhh there’s a shark in the water!” And honestly, cheer fans everywhere are still singing SSX’s voiceovers.

Congratulations SSX, Your 2018 Senior Small World Champs!

Woodlands Elite Generals came out strong in Semi-Finals with a zero deduction routine that had them ranked first moving into Finals. We’ve come to expect powerful tumbling and visual pyramids from this team and the 5-Star Generals never fail to deliver.

Woodlands Elite fell just short of the gold and left Worlds 2018 with silver.

It was a Cali Party this year at Worlds with multiple teams from across the program taking on globes. Adding to that list of accomplishment was The California All Stars Lady Bullets from the San Marcos location.

Lady Bullet's tumbling was a huge strength for them this season as it showcased the elite level athleticism this team had. Every tumbling pass was stick and stand and the team kept the energy high to finish out the season with a globe.
