The Cheerleading Worlds 2020 has grown and will now feature 26 divisions. FloCheer had the inside scoop on the five new divisions you will see in Orlando.

The Inside Scoop: New Worlds Divisions

The block schedule for The Cheerleading Worlds 2020 was released in November, and All Stars fans are excited for their first bit of news regarding the end of year championship.

So, what are the big changes in 2020?

The World Championship will continue to take place in Orlando, Florida, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex but new this year, the three-day competition will start on Friday, April 24 and will run to Sunday, April 26. 

The Cheerleading Worlds has grown and will now feature 26 divisions. The following divisions will be open to non-U.S. based teams; USASF teams are not eligible to compete in these divisions.

New Divisions You Will See At Worlds 2020

  • International Open Level 5
  • International Open Small Coed Level 5
  • International Open Large Coed Level 5
  • International Open Non Tumbling Level 7
  • International Open Coed Non Tumbling Level 7

Teams competing in the International Open Level 5 divisions will have a 2:30 minute routine time limit and teams taking on the International Open Non Tumbling Level 7 divisions will have a maximum time limit of two minutes.

The five new divisions lay the foundation for the growth of All Star cheerleading around the world and we can't wait to see which teams and countries will make history in these divisions in 2020.
