Competitive Pom is one of the most elite styles of dance!

The dance teams in the pom division emphasize synchronized motions as if they were all moving as one. The choreography of these teams is exemplary, and they do not lack in speed or technique! There will be a number of teams competing in the Small and Large Senior Pom divisions at The Dance Worlds 2021, so get ready for all of the fun and exciting pom action! 

Your reigning World Champions from 2019 in Senior Small is Cheers Factory – Evolution Japan, along with your Senior Large 2019 Champions Champion Legacy. With the anticipation of the 2021 Dance Worlds, these are the top teams to beat in their divisions.

Division History 

As the 2021 Dance World Championship is about to take place, we reflect on a year not so glamorous. 2020 was a year filled with uncertainty and confusion and while the 2020 Dance Worlds did not take place for the first time since 2007, we take a look back at the top three teams in Senior Small Pom.

2019 GOLD MEDALISTS: Cheers Factory Japan - SR Small

Being two-time defending World Champions, Cheer Factory – Evolution from Japan is always exciting to watch in the Small Senior Pom division. Japan put the pressure on in 2018 and 2019. Check out their finals routine!

 2019 SILVER MEDALISTS: Energizers - Sr Small

The 2019 silver medalist, Energizers, are ecstatic to be back in action for the 2021 Dance Worlds. After coming in 3^rd in 2018 and 2^nd in 2019, this team plans to continue climbing their way to the Gold podium. They will have to hit harder than ever before when it comes to their fierce competition.
